Manna of Hope Resource Center believes in increasing its strength and significance through collaboration with other agencies in the community.  Therefore, it has been a part of the Middle Georgia CARE-NET since its inception in 2006.  How did it all start?  Rosalynn Carter came to realize through personal experience the heavy toil under which cargegivers struggled, and decided to create caregiving collaboratives throughout the state.  These twelve CARE-NETs provide information resources, workshops, care fairs and community resources to this ever increasing population of caregivers.

Each year Mrs. Carter attends one of the state coalition meetings in Macon, GA to learn about the accomplishments of each unit during the past year.  Ken Jasnau, Vice President of the Middle Georgia CARE-NET, and Mary Whitfield, President, posed with Mrs. Carter in September, 2011.
